Cole Associates advises the directors of Performance Springs

Cole Associates advised the directors of Performance Springs, a Lancashire engineering company, which has been sold to Melling Tool Company of Michigan. The deal has secured 21 jobs and will ensure the business continues to trade from its existing site in Lytham St. Annes.

Established in 1996, Performance Springs specialises in the design and manufacturing of products for the automotive and industrial sectors. www.performancesprings.co.uk

Melling serves the global transportation original equipment and aftermarket segments and is noted for its world-class engineering, product development and distribution capabilities. Melling operates production facilities in North America, Mexico and Europe.

Jeremy Oddie and Julie Webster from Mitchell Charlesworth were appointed as joint admin- istrators on 4 March 2020 and continued to trade the business while the sale was completed.
